South African Alan Jullien went 1-1 in front of Poland’s Arek Kruk (2-2), Canada’s Pete DeGraaf (3-4) and America’s Pete Murray (6-5). The 2023 Yamaha YZ450Fs are hard to find, so he’s doing his National prep on a 2022 YZ450F. Richard Taylor (141) has been racing a Kawasaki KX450 in 450 Supercross, but plans to switch to a YZ450F for the AMA 450 Nationals starting in May. In the second moto Aeck had the fastest overall lap time, but late in the moto Mosiman reeled off a 2 second faster lap time in traffic to secure a two-moto sweep with Aeck second overall, Richard Taylor third, Ezra Lewis fourth and Ford Heit rounded out the top five. Colton Aeck stuck with Mosiman in both motos, but Josh’s best lap in moto one corresponded with Colton’s worst lap at a 2:01 to a 2:07. Mosiman got holeshots in both Pasha 125 Pro motos and reeled off consistent 2:04 lap times in the first moto and 2:10s in the much rougher and rutted second moto to win by large margins. Not only that but this Saturday’s race was imperiled by a massive four inches of rain earlier in the week. The track turned right on top of the finish line jump, dropped in on the right side of the finish line jump and went straight up the center of the hill, and came back down the side known as the “The Falls,” where it rejoined the grandstand straight.ĭue to the unprecedented rainfall in the first 10 weeks of the year, “Saturday at the Glen” hasn’t raced in a month. 5/16/2023 0 Comments Substitute for gelatin powder![]() The key manufacturers also in the market are introducing new products to increase their market share according to consumer demand. These properties of gelatin substitutes are expected to augment product demand in the coming years. It smoothly glazes products such as doughnuts and pastries and makes the glaze more viscous. Additionally, due to the significant temperature difference between their gelation point and melting point, gelatin substitutes can form a thermo-reversible gel. Unlike conventional animal-based gelatin desserts, plant-based gelatin substitute products remain firm outside the refrigerator and quickly set alcoholic and acidic liquids during preparation. As a result, plant-based gelatin substitutes are anticipated to be positively impacted by such a shift towards using organic and plant-based food ingredients. The market for plant-based ingredients is being driven up by perceptions of the negative effects of animal-based foods on health and the environment, as well as rising awareness regarding animal welfare. The reasons for such a large-scale dietary change are related to the growing research on the health advantages of plant-based foods, which public health organizations worldwide are pushing. Plant-based food ingredients are in high demand because many consumers want to make significant lifestyle changes, particularly in their eating habits, such as shifting towards plant-based food and beverage products. Market Dynamics: Rising demand to shift toward plant-based foods drives the market It is forecasted to reach USD YY million by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 6.85% during the forecast period (2023-2030). The global gelatin substitutes market was valued at USD YY million in 2022. Moreover, the growing variety of individuals tormented by chronic disorders, the prevalence of improved healthcare infrastructure, and the rising adoption of gelatin products for the assembly of expendable medications are among the most important drivers in boosting the expansion of the market. ![]() ![]() Therefore, the rising incorporation of the product in food and beverage applications is expected to impact the industry's growth positively. One of the most widely used gelatin substitutes, powder agar, has more applications in the commercial food industry, while strip agar has traditionally been used only in domestic cooking. However, the Disneyfication of Dr Seuss is not strictly a posthumous phenomenon. And, as this article points out, posthumously licensed products are more likely to encourage consumption for its own sake, whereas ones licensed during his lifetime tend to encourage creative or imaginative play. Since his death, Dr Seuss's name and characters have been used to promote cereal, credit cards, and action figures (among other things) this strategy has led many to cite Suess's indifference to money and his reluctance to exploit his characters for commercial gain. This essay takes a critical look at the Disneyfication of Dr Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel, 1904-1991), examining how a man whose books encourage critical thinking became a brand name, and is increasingly becoming an affirmation of consumer culture. ![]() 5/16/2023 0 Comments Windbound weapons![]() ![]() When you approach an enemy, you can sneak up on it, but most of the time they will see or hear you coming and begin charging towards you if they feel threatened. In one of my playthroughs, I came across a spear with a blade which helped to dispatch enemies rather quickly. Each weapon has a varied attack range and strength. You can lock onto an enemy and dodge and strike them using your various items and weapons you have crafted. In fact, the difficult user experience of Scrivener is one of the reasons that LivingWriter was developed. Unlike Scrivener, LivingWriter has no learning curve. There are trainings that cost thousands of dollars just to teach you how to use the features of Scrivener. LivingWriter Knows How Your Brain WorksĪnyone who’s ever used Scrivener or read a Scrivener review knows that it’s a big to-do. The first major difference between LivingWriter and Scrivener is the user experience. But there are some major differences between LivingWriter and Scrivener. ![]() We both have drag and drop chapters and subchapters, templates, virtual corkboards, dark mode, and chapter notes. Scrivener is similar to LivingWriter in terms of features. However, for those of you who can focus and do want a browser-based option, this may be exactly what you need. There are some major setbacks that you will find in any Scrivener review. It’s a great program, but other than the cloud-based, browser-based writing app, it doesn’t offer me much that Scrivener doesn’t already give me, and as I said, sometimes writing in an internet browser just doesn’t work for me and provides entirely too much opportunity for distraction. For myself, I doubt I will subscribe at the end of the month. I am not a huge fan of software-as-service, but as this app is cloud-based I will admit that the model makes sense for them. If you want something that has a cloud-based option with a desktop app, I definitely recommend it, with one caveat: It is subscription-based, at $9.99/month. It’s worked great on all three, and on different browsers, and the desktop app worked well too. Though Dabble isn’t fully tested for use with tablets, I have had no problems working with it either on my desktop, laptop, or tablet. This is, of course, a fault of the user and not the app itself. This last weekend, in order to meet my writing goals, I had to take myself completely offline just to concentrate and then copy and paste what I wrote into Dabble later. I loved being able to write on the go, but I also have occasional issues with focus and having the internet browser open to write in also meant having the internet browser open, which was, sometimes, counter-productive and no writing actually got done. It’s online (and therefore updatable anywhere) and this turned out to be both pro and con for me. The one part where Dabble didn’t work for me was, unfortunately, one of the reasons I wanted to try it out in the first place. I usually use metadata and color coding for plot threads in Scrivener, but I liked this means of sorting much better. It also has an interesting Plot Thread organizer that I like quite a bit. It is free for the month of November, so I thought I would try it out.įor anyone familiar with Scrivener, Dabble looks very similar, with separate sections for your manuscript and character/setting notes and research. I had tried out most of the apps on special offer through the NaNo website over the years except for one, Dabble, and its web app looked to be one of the easiest to use after using Scrivener for so long, PLUS, it auto-syncs your wordcount with NaNo, which I always forget to update (that, and my Goodreads read shelf). I just didn’t have an app (other than GoogleDocs) to write in and thought this would be a perfect opportunity to try a new writing app. Paired with a BlueTooth keyboard, it works well as a writing-on-the-go solution. Partially, this was because I wanted to be able to write on my tablet as it is significantly more portable than my big, heavy, elderly laptop. So, for this year’s NaNo, I decided to step out of my Scrivener comfort zone and try a new app. ![]() |
